As the Supacat Post Design Services Managerit will be the successful candidate’s role to manage all aspects of Post Design Services (PDS) from initial customer liaison through to delivery of projects you will also manage the Help Desk within Supacat. Some of the key responsibilities are:
  • Liaise closely with our multi-national customers and users in order to fully understand their needs, develop requirements and manage all aspects of the delivery of solutions including supply and integration.
  • Carry out ongoing Business Development activities with customer stake holders in order to understand future requirements and generate new opportunities.
  • Support briefings and demonstrations of Supacat products to a wide sector of the user communities and other relevant parties.
  • Support internal Product Development activity to ensure that it remains aligned with our customer needs.
  • Represent Supacat at user meetings and forums
  • Management and oversight of the Help Desk, providing Technical Assistance on request
  • Carry out key Project Management activities, including (but not limited to):
    • Responding to customer Requests For Quote
    • Development and implementation of project plans to successful conclusion
    • Liaison with key internal stakeholders across the business
    • Periodic reporting internally and to our customers as contracted
Essential Skills and attributes:
  • Engineering/Technical knowledge and experience (preferably with recognisable qualifications)
  • Project Management experience (preferably with recognisable qualifications)
  • Awareness of the Supacat range of products
  • Understanding of and experience in how to work with the military as a supplier
  • Good Literacy/Numeracy skills.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills. Internally, externally and in all forms
  • Analytical, decision-making skills, and good eye for detail
  • This is an office based role at Dunkeswell with the flexibility to travel nationally and internationally on occasion

This is a Full-Time Position To lead and manage the UK analysis team. To validate equipment and products throughout their lifecycle in accordance with contracted requirements and to influence their design in a timely manner to ensure they are more generally fit for purpose. Requirements:
  • Management of Analysis team and associated management information
  • Management and maintenance of Analysis software tools in liaison with the IT department
  • Management of Analysis contractors on and off site
  • Liaison with the SC Australia Analysis team on best practice and sharing resource
  • Management of analysis project data
  • Report writing and approval
  • Holding and documenting timely analysis reviews and providing input to wider project reviews
  • Scheduling of relevant resources
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures/processes
  • Liaison with all Project team members
  • Ensure compliance with and the application of relevant analysis standards and codes of practice
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and systems
Managing staff:
  • Structural analysis using first principles and FEA
  • Proficient in the use of:
  • Hyperworks suite (including Hypermesh, Radioss, Optistrut, LS Dyna) & Ansys Workbench
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels including suppliers and customers.
  • Generally computer literate and able to adapt to different software
  • Good report writing and project information recording
  • Able to constructively review, check and approve reports
  • Able to resolve basic computer problems with minimal help
  • Able to produce system/product verification plans and procedures to allow detailed integration and verification testing of the developed system/product
  • Minimum of HNC qualification

This is a Full-Time position. Do you have the skills to lead, deliver and develop Defence programmes and opportunities? You will be responsible in approach; make decisions, set priorities and deliver the programme/project to budget and schedule, plus provide support and leadership to other members of the programme/project team. It is critical that you can effectively interface with other internal functional areas of the business that deliver product and services to the programme/project and manage programmes as directed in accordance with Supacat procedures. There will be times when you will need to represent Supacat in meetings with Customers and Senior Management, so being a brand ambassador is key. You will need to present Defence project(s) to the Senior Management Team of programme/project performance, (quality, cost, schedules) monthly at the Project Reviews. Also, you will work closely with the marketing team to support activity, including demonstrations and shows which will deliver the sales objectives. A fulltime position has arisen (through internal progression) at our Dunkeswell facility to support the Production and Sales elements of the business as the primary intake and quality contact. Reporting to the Warehouse manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the following as part of the full remit: • Generate Sales Order Manifests for dispatch. • Ensure items are packed prior to dispatch in a way that meets customer requirements. • Collate Sales orders for dispatch for current week and up to 6 weeks before Customer date on Sales Order. • Ensure Certificates of Competence have been prepared and the Shelf Life Data where required is provided. Computer literacy and experience with the Microsoft basic functions is essential for this role, and a current forklift operators licence a benefit. This is a fulltime role based on a 40 hour week which may cover some weekend work when required.
