On Tuesday, 7th January 2025, the Supacat and SC Innovation engineers proudly welcomed the Oxford Universities Motorsport Foundation (OUMF) team to our headquarters.
This visit provided a valuable opportunity for the students to gain firsthand insight into the dynamic world of engineering.
Simon Turner, our Chief Engineer, led the session with an engaging overview of our company’s extensive capabilities and showcased the innovative products we design, manufacture, and commission for our clients. Matt Harvey, Systems Engineer, confidently shared his inspiring journey from university—where he studied motorsport engineering, just like the visiting students—to securing a full-time engineering position with us through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme through the University of Exeter. This visit was an opportunity for us to demonstrate the variety of pathways into engineering for potential ambitious and eager individuals eager to make their mark in the industry.
