Eurosatory 2022
Supacat are delighted to attend Eurosatory as part of the AM General and Mandus Technolgy collaborative innovation.
We will be demonstrating the HMT Mk2 platform integrated with the Soft Recoil System, which is scalable and portable 360 degree firing system and therefore, suits the architecture of the Supacat Light Tactical Vehicle (HMT), perfectly. The system enables improved mobility and is less reliable on the crew, which increases survivability.
This is a ‘Shoot and Scoot’ system enhancing the capabilities of the HMT (Coyote).
Phil Applegarth, Director of Supacat states, “the integration of the 105mm Light Gun Barrel and the Mandus Soft Recoil System onto the Supacat Coyote converts the platform into a long range artillery vehicle, providing enhanced mobility; avoiding static positions, and enticing counter fire. The ability to fire and manoeuvre without pulling a trailer exists with the Mandus Soft Recoil System (SRS), protecting both the crew and vehicle, this is why we are collaborating with AM Mandus Technology.
